USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D Main Engineering

The playset recreates Deck 36 Main Engineering, the control centre for the Enterprise-D's warp propulsion and impulse systems. Its centrepiece is the illuminated reactor core, surrounded by engineering consoles and interactive features designed to recreate the environment seen aboard the Enterprise.

The fold-down computer workstation and engineering controls provide display areas for compatible Playmates Star Trek figures, allowing scenes from Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek Generations to be recreated.

The Engineering Playset was released by Playmates in 1994 as part of the Star Trek Generations product range. Stock No. 6108 was one of the larger environment-based releases from the Playmates Star Trek line and was designed around the company's approximately 4.5-inch action figures.
