Robot Santa Build-A-Bot Series

Captain Yesterday was one of six figures released across Toynami's Futurama Series 4, 5 and 6 that contained components for building the impressive Robot Santa figure. Captain Yesterday includes Piece 1 – Robot Santa's head. The remaining components were distributed with Nudar, Super King Bender, Calculon, Clobberella and Amy Wong. Collecting all six components allowed fans to assemble the complete Robot Santa Build-A-Bot figure.

Collector Notes

Captain Yesterday is Fry's superhero identity from the Futurama episode “Less Than Hero”, in which Fry and Leela gain superhuman abilities after using Dr. Flimflam's Miracle Cream. Fry becomes Captain Yesterday, Leela becomes Clobberella and Bender joins them as Super King. The three form the New Justice Team, making the Toynami superhero figures a particularly fun sub-set within the larger Futurama collection. With Toynami's original Futurama action figure range long discontinued, these older releases are increasingly appealing to collectors looking to complete the character line-up or Robot Santa Build-A-Bot.
